Gos Rosling, the brainchild by Amsterdam born but Belgian raised singer-songwriter
Luca van Cruchten, started 2023 with an amazing run of shows in great Dutch venues
such as Effenaar, Mezz, Nieuwe Nor and PAARD.
In the summer of 2023 Luca surrounded himself with a few Belgian up-and-coming musicians: Lena Thijs (LũpḁGangGang), Luca Fazioli (Mojo & The Kitchen Brothers, Lo-Lee-Ta) and Dieter Vergauwen (So Long, So Long).
Inspired by the likes of Two Door Cinema Club, The Cure, Phoebe Bridgers
and Bombay Bicycle Club, Gos Rosling blends folky and melancholic undertones
with catchy pop sounds.
They already played shows at Wintercircus, TRIX, Kavka Oudaan and even sold out their EP release show at Café Café in their hometown. Rosling also played support acts for The Snuts, Feeder and The Lottery Winners.
The band joined forces with producers Koenraad Foesters (Rhinos Are People Too) and recorded their debut EP in the spring of 2024, which got mastered by Danny Blackburn, who also worked for TRAAMS, Kaiser Chiefs and Bill Laurance at The Nave (Leeds, UK).
Their first single 'Caroline (i should've known better)' was released on the 31st of May through Another Weekend. Their second single ‘Somehow/Somewhere’ followed. And their debut EP called ‘Trainwrecks at the Seaside’ is out now. Digital and physical in your favourite record store.
There’s still a lot to come, but one thing is sure;
Gos Rosling will be on your radar.
