A classically trained pianist and jazz trombonist from a young age, Gregory Dibs began producing EDM in high school in Petaluma, California. He started DJing in 2013 during his time as a college student at University of California, Davis, quickly advancing from DJing house parties and frat parties to playing at larger shows; he opened for the likes of Xaebor, Squnto, Jaykode, and Jalaya in 2016 and 2017 in Davis and Sacramento. He earned a residency at G Street Wunderbar in Davis, CA in 2017, where he went on to perform more than 50 times over the following three years.
From 2020 to 2023, Dibs performed at only a handful of private events while he focused on honing his production and mixing skills. In the summer of 2021, he released his debut album, <a href="spotify:album:5H7LeqNwz5i3Nx75H5SMIH" data-name="Prism of Optimism">Prism of Optimism</a>, and started the Green Trombone Records label.
In April 2024, Dibs launched back into DJing, earning a residency at Molly O's in San Carlos, CA. His 2nd studio album, <a href="spotify:album:5GHUYfjIvgj60qY8bDIbDJ" data-name="Rocket">Rocket</a>, followed in July 2024.
In January 2025, Green Trombone Records LLC launched <a href="spotify:artist:5VGxKhqniZ0yGeHbNWcl1y" data-name="Le Vibre">Le Vibre</a>: the deeper, grittier, and darker musical project composed of singer, songwriter, and record label president <a href="spotify:artist:5kYnFA3T4dsiGmigdS0O3e" data-name="Emily Weurth">Emily Weurth</a> and producer Got Dibs.
Dibs takes the versatile sound of his budding record label to the next level with each release. He has no plans to slow down and is poised for an explosive 2026 and beyond.
