It doesn’t matter what topic or sentiment you look for in music. “Gottiano” (Or “Got” for short) blends vulnerability, introspect, high fashion sense, and visual down-to-earth lines that resonate with a wide range of musical mindsets. He also keeps profanity at a zero so the family can enjoy it as well. The 21-year old Dumfries, Virginia native, (Born, Daniel Owusu Jr.) is here to stay. His direct and nonchalant lyrical ability can be compared to fellow DMV area voices such as Nino Paid, YungManny, or even Jaeychino on grunge, 808-heavy production. An open book artist of many cadences who cites rappers such as Young Thug, Kodak, Tory Lanez, and Roddy Ricch as vocally versatile influences; which can be heard in songs like “On Top”& “Off My Mind” on “#B4BATTS”; released in June 2025 . Got has a gritty story to tell but It seems like he just hops on the mic for fun with the different blends of signature sounds from across the states. From recording his earliest tracks on Bandlab under the moniker “BiggDann”, to stone-stepping studio sessions that would soon bring forth his first self-titled mixtape “Gottiano” in October of 2024, new name, & top song “DUE 4 A WIN”, the emerging Virginia artist is the newest kid on the block.

In August of 2025, he released “Gottiano 2” as a sequel to his debut mixtape.
