Goth Disco is the solo project of an Australian songwriter and producer making alternative rock rooted in post-punk and new wave.

It’s self-produced with a band-oriented feel, built around driving rhythms, melodic bass, layered guitars, and atmospheric synths. Nostalgic, but still modern.

The sound draws on post-punk and new wave structures through a modern, independent approach. Much of the project is mood-driven, but releases regularly move into punk, indie, and more guitar-forward territory.

Tracks shift between darker, more introspective moments, direct and confrontational energy, and the occasional tongue-in-cheek twist, without breaking Goth Disco's core identity.

Across releases, Goth Disco follows instinct rather than strict genre boundaries, with recognisable threads tying it all together.

Vocal hooks sit over tight rhythm sections. Guitars carry tension and momentum. The production stays clean, with a sense of analogue warmth that keeps the songs grounded and band-like.

Throughout 2026, Goth Disco is releasing a track every month. 12 tracks across 12 months, released in the exact order they were made. No overthinking. No waiting.

The focus is on momentum and follow-through rather than perfection, with each release treated as part an ever-evolving identity. Goth Disco is largely DIY and built by committing to the process and seeing things through.
