Belgian music maker Goudzoeker - pronounced /ɣɑu̯tzukər/ - has been a long time electronic music veteran. However, after a decade of making music completely inside a computer,
he noticed that his inspiration had gone cold. Computers were how he had started out. They were what he knew. They formed the familiar, the dreaded comfort zone.

In the summer of 2021, He carefully dipped his toes into the analog hardware waters.
Soon, he fell in love with the immediacy and experimentation this new form brought along with it. Next, the hardware lab started expanding as it still does until today. Grateful for this exhilarating development, he truly feels as if some kind of flame has been reignited. No longer tweaking knobs with a clicky mouse, but playing living and breathing instruments.

This is Goudzoeker. Inspired by characterful synthesizer sounds, colorful chords, general nostalgia and - of course - magic. His aim is not to tick boxes, meet expectations or please the whole world, only to attempt translating his heart into music.
