Goutham Vincent, a music director, composer, and performer from Alappuzha, Kerala, has steadily built a strong presence in the music industry. In 2021, he was awarded Best Music Director in a competition organized by the Cultural Department of the Government of Kerala in association with the Corporation of Thiruvananthapuram, a recognition of his creativity and skill.
He has worked alongside some of the finest names in the field, including serving as a Music Programmer for maestro Deepak Dev on the much-anticipated film Empuraan. Earlier, he was named among the Top 10 winners of the 99 Songs Cover Star Competition launched by A. R. Rahman, adding a significant milestone to his journey.
As a proud Alappuzha native, Goutham has been commissioned to compose the signature songs for the Nehru Trophy Boat Race in 2017, 2018, 2023, and 2024, each of which drew wide media attention and strengthened his reputation as a composer who fuses tradition with contemporary appeal.
After more than a decade of collaborations with leading musicians and bands, he is now focused on his own venture, Project GS, alongside his wife and playback singer Sony Mohan, supported by a talented team of artists. Currently, Goutham is channeling his energy into creating independent music, while also working on two upcoming film projects, continuing his evolution as a dynamic and versatile musician.
