A gothic artist with a whole lotta layers, "Grae V." blends a wide range of alternative, electronic, pop, and hip-hop to provide a sound pallette that is unlike what anybody has ever done before.
His alternative side derives from post-grunge, post-punk, post-punk revival, alt rock, geek rock, and industrial. His electronic & pop sides derive from synthpop, alt dance, new wave, coldwave, darkwave, electronic rock, and art-pop. His hip-hop side is a regional blend of rap styles coming from the east coast, the south, and the midwest that becomes somewhat of a rap style of its own. Since 2022, Grae V. Train has evolved and increased the depth of his sound, becoming more and more raw sounding over time.
Currently, he is working on his 5th album (which will also be his 1st concept album), "Ashes to Ashes, Dust to Dust." A smaller album than his previous 4 main releases, it tells the story of his journey in interpersonal social maturation during his early adulthood. This journey involves parties such as himself, his life at home, and his professional music relationships. It is slated to release sometime in late 2025.
