Granton John Mwaipopo, better known by his stage name Gran Geezy (Aka Geezus), is a talented rapper, songwriter, and singer from Tanzania. Born and raised in Dodoma, he later moved to Dar es Salaam, the heart of Tanzania's vibrant music scene, to pursue his passion for music and further his career. It was in Dar es Salaam where Gran Geezy's musical journey truly took flight, as he stumbled upon an opportunity to collaborate with like-minded artists, leading him to take part in the rise of the influential rap crew, FreshBoys.
