Grand Cru Duo is a chamber-pop instrumental project from Trentino that blends violin and cello into elegant, intimate reinterpretations of iconic songs. Their sound merges classical finesse with contemporary sensibility. The project is produced by Pierluigi Colangelo for the Algoritmo label.

Aldo Vindimian is a versatile violinist who graduated with top honors from the Conservatories of Trento and Bolzano. Active in both classical and popular music scenes, he is first violin of the Quartetto Alternativo Trentino and has performed as a soloist with Ensemble Unterberger and Monteverdi Akademie, in works by Vivaldi, Kreisler, and Sarasate. He has collaborated with Conductus Ensemble, Orchestra Settenovecento, and Ensemble Zandonai. He trained under renowned teachers such as Milenkovic, Serino, and Bronzi, and teaches violin at the Rudolf Steiner School in Trento.

Gabriele De Rosso, born in 2000, began cello studies at age 9 and graduated in 2024 from the Bonporti Conservatory in Trento, studying with Ferrarini, Cerrato, and Guarino. He has served as principal cellist in the Bonporti Pop Orchestra and the Conservatory Production Orchestra. He plays with the Archisonanti project, Orchestra delle Alpi, and is cellist of the Quartetto Alternativo Trentino. He has performed with artists such as Andrea Pennacchi, Gigliola Cinquetti, and Jon Kimura Parker. He is pursuing his master’s and teaches cello at the Rudolf Steiner School in Trento
