Living on the Kapiti Coast, New Zealand with his teenage sons, Grant Shearer has released the Singles ‘If only’ and ‘Seamstress’ which were included in his first ever EP 'Night Rain' in 2021.
An Epilogue to his EP, the single 'Night Rain Fall' has recently landed, capturing similar themes of love and loss in soulful melancholic melodies.
Classically trained in piano, the self taught singer songwriter and guitarist is more likely to be found belting out a cover with his busking buddies under a streetlamp, than under any more prestigious spotlights. His musical style is hard to pin down and is always evolving, but subtle influences of indie folk, progressive rock and gospel come through in his tunes.
