<a href="spotify:artist:2o2JhOHzDofoYXHzqyoRmv" data-name="Grasshopper Green">Grasshopper Green</a> is an indie rock band hailing from Cape Cod in Massachusetts. It was formed in 1997 and they recorded a full length album at Samson Studios in Tiverton, RI over the summer of 1998 and played shows across South Eastern-Massachusetts from Barnstable to Cambridge, with bands such as <a href="spotify:artist:5239jB8CtpfVcAvHYXy599" data-name="The Shyness Clinic">The Shyness Clinic</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:3oglFEsE6GvwwJFConxKa5" data-name="Tristeza">Tristeza</a>, VHS, Crackpipe Wisconsin, Cast of Lyndon, <a href="spotify:artist:7kvJEeRmZQWY8yvSNXoMHn" data-name="Junction 18">Junction 18</a> and Glasseater.
The band took a brief hiatus in 2000 and reformed in 2017 with a new member and a new focus. They wrote and recorded the album “Sincerely,” and released it in late 2018. Their follow up LP, “Monsoon,” was released in April 2021.
