Founded in late 2019 in the doom and gloom of Helsinki, Finland, Gravity Goes Up combines alternative rock with soaring, larger than life melodies derived from pop music and heavy hitting, groovy guitar riffs to create their own vision of what a modern rock band should sound like.
Their debut single ''Song #1'' (released on September 4th 2020) was well received by fans and critics alike.
Their second single''Clarity'' was released on October 30th 2020. It shows a more soulful and intimate side of the band and adds a new dimension to the musical spectrum of the group. The song is a bit of a musical departure from the band's debut single (''Song #1'', released in September 2020), but all in all it still sums up what the band is all about: great riffs, great rhythm section, great basslines, fantastic vocals and a guitar solo.
