GRCN

Gracin Hanna, known as GRCN in EDM, is a Kansas City electronic dance music artist and DJ who blends the emotional melodies of the genre Future Bass with the immersive energy of Melodic Bass. Introduced to EDM at a young age on YouTube, he was inspired by how powerful sound design and emotion could come from EDM. This sparked his mission: to create electronic music that moves both the body and heart.
As a producer, GRCN has written, recorded, mixed, and mastered multiple singles and an EP. His collaborations with singer-songwriters and other producers highlight his ability to cross vocals with atmospheric soundscapes, with several tracks now officially available on streaming platforms. These projects have deepened his experience in co-writing, arranging, and mixing, while also enhancing his collaborative and creative communication skills.

Another essential component of GRCN’s artistry is live performance. He has DJ’d at raves, played solo live sets, and performed with the New Technologies Ensemble at the university, showcasing versatility across different performance settings. Highlights include a DJ set at Vanilla Rave in 2025 and several technology ensemble/solo concerts.

Looking ahead, he intends to continue releasing original music, exploring new collaborations, and developing larger projects such as EPs and albums, with the goal of making a lasting mark on the electronic dance music scene.
