Est. 2015, GREEN BUDDHA is Colorado's original NoCoast Reggae Rockers. GREEN BUDDHA’s unique original sound mixes influences from reggae, funk, ska, and New Orleans soul. What some have argued as Colorado’s best live Reggae Rock Band, GREEN BUDDHA delivers a blistering live performance experience full of original songs that continue to captivate the hearts and minds of concert goers. In the last year GREEN BUDDHA has played shows with THE WAILERS, STEPHEN MARLEY, ARISE ROOTS and many more amazing artists at shows and festivals around the 4 corner states.
Founded by vocalist, guitarist and songwriter Seth Strickland who leads the band, GREEN BUDDHA’s personnel line up also includes bassist & percussionist Matt Grundstad (Euforquestra, Dubskin); Drummer Jonny Jyemo (Jyemo Club, Garret Sayers Trio) and keyboardists Matthew Wright (EUF/Dubskin) and Wylie Jones (Itals, DRSC)
