I grew up where Sanskrit mantras were chanted in the temple in every corner. However, I didn't pay much attention to the mantras or the tradition. I was always breaking the rules so to speak! Years later, listening to Deva Premal's mantras and chants, I felt the connection to the mantras and the sacred Sanskrit words. It greatly touched my soul. In a deep internal journey with plant medicine, my masks were broken and my heart was open. I encountered my ancestors that wrote the scriptures and Vedas, Goddess Gayatri told me to "sing" and that is what I am doing now. Salutations to Ganesha to guide me in this journey of exploration of music and shamanic traditions. My music is mostly experimental with nature sounds, mantras, chants and the words that comes form deep down my heart.
