Greenroom

Greenroom was a highly acclaimed pop punk band from Oxnard California. Richard Galiguis (Guitar) and <a href="spotify:artist:7DpXDzBnx6vt209Xk2j2HY" data-name="Jordan Sweeney">Jordan Sweeney</a> (Drums) met in high school and started writing songs. They named their band Cant Relate and recruited guitarist, Aaron Ayala and bassist, Guy Espinoza. Before recording their album, Espinoza left the band and Ayala moved over to bass. Jeremy Dempsey was added to the band to play guitar. Galiguis was the original singer. They recorded a 7 song self titled EP in late 2000 when they were sophomores in high school. After receiving praise for the fast &#34;skate-punk&#34; music, they decided it was best to find a great singer for the band. The band recruited friend, <a href="spotify:artist:7u0qeQenCEWVQJRxpZGuD1" data-name="Allen Herme">Allen Herme</a> to be their singer. In August 2001, the band went to the studio to record. They loved the new sound Allen was brining to their songs so they felt they needed a new band name. They released their only album &#34;Starting Over&#34; and renamed their band Greenroom while they were in the studio. The album received great feedback and they started getting fans all over the nation. The band played many shows during their senior year in high school but the band broke up before they graduated in 2002. This album to date is a fan favorite around the nation and is noted to being one of the original skate punk bands. Sweeney and Galiguis started a band <a href="spotify:artist:1xry6JPHtWcuLr9vETx6VA" data-name="Sky Walker">Sky Walker</a> in 2004 and released a self titled album. Sweeney also released three albums with both <a href="spotify:artist:6BeSfYQb80A7VmFROS1xZJ" data-name="Saving Sebastian">Saving Sebastian</a> and <a href="spotify:artist:7DpXDzBnx6vt209Xk2j2HY" data-name="Jordan Sweeney">Jordan Sweeney</a> &#34;solo.&#34;
