GreenTree Music is the production company and brainchild of artist/composer/musician Cameron Greenlee, created with the sole purpose of bringing positive music into the world.
Beginning his journey with classical piano from the age of five, Cameron's versatility is a result of his immersion into many styles of music, including jazz, hip-hop, latin, afro-beat, blues and Kirtan. From his spiritual journey into Rastafari, Cameron's artistry and work is deeply rooted in reggae and roots music. “ ‘Monkey Move’ is an absolute delight. Toussaint’s soul-reggae vocals are the perfect vessel for this musical jungle tale. The string section is a most welcome throwback to the 1970s heyday of Trojan Records and the orchestrated reggae sounds of John Holt and Desmond Dekker. GreenTree shows how the right tune can make you laugh, think, and dance for three joyful minutes.” –Noah Schaffer, The Boston Globe
“I could tell from the first few notes that Monkey Move was a song I was going to like...While the lyrics are plaintive, the groove is downright cheerful and has a New Orleans feel...with a helping of reggae thrown in for good measure. The magic of the strings beautifully compliment the work on keys.” - Alison Kaufman, WCNI 90.9FM
