Growing up in and around Philadelphia, Gregg got a drum set when he was 15 and played drums for a local cover-band. When they started making original music, he taught himself guitar to contribute songwriting to the band. When everyone graduated college, careers became the priority and the band was no more. Gregg took up audio production as a hobby and started recording 2015’s “Road to Here” over 10 years before its release. “I have no desire to be a star, so I didn’t even think about putting my music out there for a long time,” he said, “ but later I learned how easy modern technology makes it to put music out there.” Road to here brought tracks such as the rock driven “In Your Own Hands”, and the catchy ballad of hope “Up to You.” 5 years later, Gregg now releases his second offering, “Balance,” with a guitar-driven sound reminiscent of the 1990s alternative rock scene. It features 11 songs + 1 instrumental, all written, performed, and produced by Gregg himself. “You save a lot of money that way,” he said. “It takes a lot of time and work to do it all yourself, but the satisfaction from the end result is totally worth it.”
