Grey Abraxas

Grey Abraxas is a producer, vocalist, and guitarist native to Brooklyn, New York. Growing up around The Misfits, Gravediggaz, La Roux, and everything in between, his eclectic influences inform his production. Bouncing between moody trip hop, rattling trap & drill inspired sounds, alternative rock, and pop, Grey leans into the familiar and the unknown. He began as a hard rock guitarist and songwriter in his teenage years-- inspired by the likes of Queens of the Stone Age, Tool, and Mastodon-- but soon found himself experimenting with sounds unconventional to the hard rock and metal genre-sphere. Playing with themes of the esoteric, the human psyche, independence, and the complexities of the modern world, his music provides a boundary-pushing and psychedelic journey.

In 2024, he released "Palladium Animus", his solo debut playing off of the theme of "alchemy". Fully produced , engineered, mixed, and mastered by Grey, it features a trippy blend of hip hop instrumentation, analog synths, and live guitar & bass. It debuted alongside another self-produced project, the science fiction short film for the song "Monochrome", featuring extra-terrestrial voyagers discovering art and music through psychedelics.

He also releases music on his YouTube channel under the name “ViIPURR”- a hard rock experimental side project of which he is the sole member.
