At his core, Greyson Chance is a storyteller, and one who approaches his craft with an author’s attention to detail, and sense of artistry. The Oklahoma-born singer, songwriter, and pianist delves into metaphors and lyrical narratives that one would expect from a seasoned, mature songwriter, certainly not from a 27-year old. The truth is, Chance is no novice when it comes to navigating the world of music, having been signed to Geffen Records at the age of 12, and experiencing his career erupt overnight. With this all occurring in the midst of his adolescent years, Chance’s presence in the industry quietened a few years later, as he switched to navigating this youth, and developing his talents from within. In 2019 however, the musician resurfaced with his album portraits, which brought about a wave of acclaim and support for the artist’s work, leading his career into a positive state of resurrection, through the vibrant, hopeful sound of synthpop. The album to date has amassed 250 million streams, led Greyson to multiple international tours, and put him back on the map. He has since released two follow up albums in Trophies and Palladium. Chance is currently working on a new album.
