After a long hiatus Gridd has returned with an entirely new project "Brassport". After the success of Vent Session (2020) we enter a new era filled with machines, steam, and screams. Combining the concept and aesthetic of steampunk with the sounds of modern alternative, electronic, metalcore, and emo, Gridd presents a new genre - 'Steamo'. Brassport will build off of the story of Vent Session and dive into the origins of the Gridd character as he returns to his hometown.
"Vent Session was always just a bridge to Brassport for me. This has been in my mind for about a decade now and I truly view this as the definitive Gridd project. It's really going to be like a theater production with dialogue and audio drama portions mixed into the songs to create a narrative."
Brassport Chapter I released on October 27th 2023. Chapter II and III will release in 2024
