GRIFE is composed by Dan Grimm and Diego Feder, two very handsome guys from Curitiba (Brazil) that are trying very hard to write this bio whilst not submitting to the, mostly boring, very conventional, third person composition.
Having both developed the passion for music in the adolescence, the ordinary middle class brazilian life didn’t grant us the confidence and support to pursuit a musical career. Instead, we ended up on a 40 hours work week office job while studying to be engineers. It sucked!!! By no surprise, we found ourselves unable to fit in and feeling stuck in this everyday life.
However, as we were always developing our music skills, we met in 2017 (someone would call it kismet - we would not). And with very different backgrounds but the same driving force and passion to express our feelings and emotions through music, we started our journey together (cute huh?).
It didn’t take much time for us to be sharing musical projects, collabro-ing and putting hours of work to finally start living our dreams.
With a creative process based on experimentation, frustrated attempts and mostly, miss mouse clicks that somehow make something good, we are now able to create our own world and vision on music while always trying to get people to identify themselves with this sort of art we produce.
