With his UK roots starting in Bethnal Green, East London, the influences of city life and different cultural mixes of East London living have heavily impacted the music style of GS. Short for God Sent, his music journey has been one embodying transformation through the deep exploration of the impact that his cultural background has had on his perception of life growing up in the UK. The music of GS demonstrates the UK as the paint and Nigeria and Jamaica as the canvas. His half Jamaican and Nigerian heritage is prominent in the style of song and the types of artists he collaborates with on various tracks.


His 2021 release ‘Neighbors’ reflects hard lessons learnt with friendships gone awry and the adversities felt through day to day living. The piano loop throughout the song keeps us light on our toes whilst his own deep and sultry voice provides the perfect balance. His lyrics are witty and catching from the moment they first drop, and we witness religious references throughout the rest of the song, clearly reflecting the strength it gives to GS on his journey through life.
