Spirited Gudrun from the Forrest quarter of lower Austria, now bustling resident of beautiful Vienna, invites us with her songs of life and love to get close to her soul.
She engages in a honest conversation with her listeners to share her feelings through her poetry and music.
In her early years she worked as the lead singer for chart topping Austrian pop rock band She Says, then toured with Bryan Adams, Uriah Heep and opened for Seal. GuGabriel worked in the studio as well as live with Bob Marley discoverer/producer Lee Scratch Perry, punk icon Ari Up and the internationally known Viennese Dub Reggae band Dubblestandart. Recently on the charts again with her self-produced song "Salvation", she always manages that radio stations keep her songs on rotation. She won the "Amadeus Award", "European Border Breakers Award" and ÖKB Singer-Songwriter Award ", plus received prizes for her thoughtfulness in her music and being a " Smart Female Creative Power "made in Austria! GuGabriel has her own label and founded Pure Water, a new one with Dubblestandart's Paul Zasky in 2018. In 2019 she finalized her first film score for a documentary about keeping European rivers protected and return their waters to drinking quality standards. She produces in her own studio and is a restless activist for a protected nature and a empathic togetherness in this riddled world.
