Gussy Q

Gussy Q, the Dutch-American singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist, currently resides on the Atlantic coast. Traveling with his portable recording studio, The Space Ranger, he captures waves and writes songs in surfy, sunny locales.

His current album, Hot Sox, blends psychedelic rock with electro-synth elements and was recorded some time ago, featuring Rens Ottink (Temples, Pauw) on drums.

Gussy is now working on his next album, Cosmic Giggles, created together with his soul brother and music partner David Benjamin, who unfortunately passed away at the beginning of 2025. As a tribute, this album aims to share their beautiful creation—infused with healing frequencies, high-vibrational positive affirmations, and deep psychedelic rhythms.

He is also performing his live set: a vibrant mix of DJ, synth, guitar, and vocals, combining classic and current pop mashups with his own playful, unique style.

The cheeky, straightforward single Kiss You tells the story of being at a festival, spotting someone across the crowd, and building up the nerve to share a long, unforgettable kiss. This idea of “going for it” is the underlying theme of the upcoming album Hot Sox, with Kiss You as its debut single.

This spring and summer, Gussy Q embarks on a one-man show tour along the southern European Atlantic coast. Stay tuned for a musical journey to infinity and beyond!
