Gustav Hoyer creates music that combines tuneful melodies with structural sophistication. His latest releases A Winter Journal and Conversations (available only through Octave Records) feature small ensembles telling intimate stories. His next release features a full orchestra in the epic story of a mariner lost at sea. Releasing in February 2024 from Navona Records, this album brings the epic poem: The Rime of the Ancient Mariner by Samuel Taylor Coleridge to life.
