Founded in 2020 in Graz, Austria, GUYOĐ have devoted themselves to a unique style of death metal with a strong tendency towards both doom and black metal. GUYOÐ’s live shows go beyond the mere sounds played on stage. They are ceremonies; immersive rituals characterized by an intensity that transcend the music alone.
Music as well as lyrics draw their main inspiration from the endless depth and darkness of the ocean, the creative and destructive power of water, the bleak vastness of the great unknown.
GUYOĐ released their first output ALLUVIAL SOIL, a split with LEHM, in 2022, their first full-length HEART OF THY ABYSS came out on 4 November 2023.
