Gwai Mak

Gwai Mak (Black Ghost in English) is the siren’s voice behind a booming underground Atlanta music scene. Mak began singing at an early age in his local child choir. Gaining attention from large acts such as the famous Chicago, it seemed as if Mak was destined for stardom even in his youth. After moving from Cincinnati to Atlanta during his teenage years, he quickly found a pocket of artistic excellence in which he fit right in, becoming both an admired and respected voice in a sea of potential. Influenced by musicians such as Michael Jackson, Stevie Wonder, Prince and Frank Ocean he searched to blend his philosophical ideals and artistic talents to push the boundaries and create the impact on the world that he was born to make.

The result is the future. Emerging into self realization and fine tuning an extreme amount of raw talent, Gwai Mak is creating a lane in which he has no equal and seems to have no end. With co signs from artists such as 6dogs, Danger Incorporated, Arin Ray and others, his respect in his field is steadily growing. With his full album coming this winter, Mak's Demos EP is but a gateway into the greatness that his future holds.
