Herioc as his stage name (Gwap Soulja), is a diverse, laid back hip-hop artist with dreams and aspirations of becoming a true rap star. Inspired by some of the young greats like Lil Romeo, Lil Bow Wow, Lil Wayne, and TI; Rico credits his passion and profound love for hip-hop on their struggles and the evolution of music.
Born in Savannah, Georgia, growning up had its growing pains, and for so many years “Gwap Soulja” had to repressed many of his personal issues. However, coming from a solid household with supportive parents, Rico has been able to channel bad experiences into positive circumstances. Through his music he is able to fuel his inner self and orchestrate lyrical works of art that show through hard work and determination anything is possible regardless of life situations.
Similar to “The Dark Knight’s” Harvey Dent character (Gwap Soulja), Rico’s everyday persona exemplify his kindred undertones and conservative demeanor. However, his hip-hop stage presence embodies a quality conceived from duality and fate.
