Gwapo

GwapO (The O is optional) would best describe himself as “Your average Joe wit a not so average flow”. Growing up as a Bay Area native it’s hard not to pick up from the independent hustle that surrounds him.

He has collaborated with artists and producers such as Mistah FAB, IAMSU!, P-Lo, Nio Tha Gift, San Quinn, St Spittin, Br3ndo, Vdal Garcia, Hollywood Keefy, ThatKidRoro, G Derty, Yamz, Rossi., and Jamillions.

The music is usually all about vibes and hard hitting beats to back his laid back flow. But also paying homage to the greats before him, who laced him up with all the game that helped make what he is today. As much as he appreciates the flashiness and bravado of rap he remains a true emcee at heart. He’ll be the first to let you know that he’s not talking about anything different, he just does it better and really lives it. While still forever being a fan first and a student of the game.

Gwap has dedicated his life to Sound Arts as he writes, records, and mixes all in house. At the end of the day he just wants to give back to a genre that contributed so much to his upbringing.

Without the Bay Area, without Hip Hop or Rap there is no GwapO.
