From the twisted mind of artist and vocalist Julian Geiger, GXREHXUND is a horror-deathcore project based in Huntsville, AL.
Inspired by the resurgence of great deathcore bands like WhiteChapel and Left to Suffer as well as legendary death metal acts like Cattle Decapitation and Cannibal Corpse, GXREHXUND’s sound is characterized by intense, theatric grows, grueling hardcore instrumentals, and lyrics that range from the viscerally disturbing to the tragic and personal.
The first buddings of GXREHXUND began in 2019 when Geiger teamed up with multi-instrumentalist Conner Tomlinson (Impulse Machine; Pale Spectre) to write and record demos for “Everyone Goes to Hell” and “NeverNevermore.”
GXREHXUND’s debut EP YEAR OF THE HXUND (2023) was produced by Tomlinson and explores a range of mutual influences, from deathcore to metalcore to horror films and sometimes folk punk.
