GYCO(Ghetto Youth Collective) is a 5-piece instrumental progressive jazz fusion collective from Long Island, NY. Though they've been playing together for quite some time, this collaborative effort was finally given a name in 2019. Combining a blend of complex harmony, lyrical melodies, and odd time signatures GYCO aims to tell a story through their music. With one EP(Playing Hide And Seek With The Sun) and one full length album(Burn Or Drown) released to the public, the group continues to work together to mature their sound and push musical boundaries.
