Habyba

HABYBA is a young Singer, Songwriter and Entertainer from Ghana, West Africa, based in Zürich, Switzerland.


Her musical journey started with singing in church. She became a backing vocalist for many popular Ghanaian artists on stage and in the studios.


Habyba has developed a unique style that suits her powerful voice and personality. She classifies her music as Highlife and Afro Pop. Her vibrant and energetic style is ever present on her new album “Yeeko Yenim”, released on 15th March 2023.


This release is another bold musical statement and “a breath of fresh air”.


Habyba delivers an electrifying performance and interacts with her audience. She performs with a backing band made up of seven musicians covering drums, bass, guitar, keyboards, percussion, trombone and saxophone.


She has since performed on international stages promoting her brand.
Habyba performed at the Ghana Day Festival in Zurich, Switzerland; World Stage Platform in Copenhagen, Denmark; Alafia Festival in Hamburg, Germany; Afrika Tage Festival in Wien, Austria and The World Music Festival in Hamburg, just to mention a few.
