Hady Mirza is a seasoned stage performer who started his roots in live bands from the age of 20. Comprising abilities in multiple song genres and being exposed to many international shows prior to joining singing competitions, Hady won the 2nd season of Singapore Idol in 2006 with a majority landslide public vote. From then on, his popularity kept on rising with numerous invitations to perform. In 2009, he released his 2nd album with the song “Angkasa” predominantly being at the No.1 spot on Singapore radio for 29 weeks running. He was also the winner of the world's first Asian Idol competition held on 16 December 2007 in Jakarta, Indonesia. Asian Idol is a competition between six Idol winners from several different Asian countries, namely Singapore Idol, Malaysian Idol, Indonesian Idol, Indian Idol, Philippine Idol and Vietnam Idol.
Throughout his career, Hady also had acting and hosting engagements including a memorable role as Alladin in a theatre production in 2011. His success in both Gegarvaganza Season 6 and recently, AllStars Gegarvaganza in 2023 has further endeared himself to fans from all over. In July 2024, Hady had his first ever sold-out concert in Singapore. Hady has definitely come into his own as an entertainer and deserves the epitome of a well-rounded artiste.
