HAGEN

HAGEN, is a South African singer-songwriter, born and raised in Cape Town. He is a Pop artist accompanied with his strong vocals, takes his influences from artists such as Bruno Mars and Daniel Caesar. He’s a multi-instrumentalist who found his love for music through his mother who introduced him to Jazz and R&B soul at a young age, as well as in church where he became part of the church band at the age of 13. Music was also one of his subjects as a student at Alexander Sinton High School. He performed at venues such as Artscape, The Grand Arena (Grand West), and the V&A Waterfront Amphitheatre as a member of his High School band. His music is a blend of R&B and Pop, melodically driven and his lyricism focuses on love from a male's perspective which can be heard on his debut single "Fade Away". Focused on carving out his place in the industry, he continues working on a diverse array of songs set to be released throughout 2024.
