Hagit Rosmarin – flutist and composer
Hagit was born in Netanya, Israel, and has been playing the flute since childhood.
Studied music in the prestigious Rimon School of Music in Israel and at Mannes College of Music in New York City.
In order to find the musical style that would serve her best to express herself through the flute, Hagit had set herself to a long quest to look for her unique sound.
This quest took her to many and different places in the world, teaming up with various musicians, playing and experiencing many different styles: classical and contemporary music, jazz, Latin music, Kurdish and Arab music, flamenco and Irish music.
Apart from performing and recording with other bands and different productions, Hagit is composing her own music and has released 3 albums. She is performing with her own ensembles, teaching flute and giving workshops and lectures in world music.
