Haider’s journey as a dedicated producer, DJ, composer and remixer over the past decade has led him to bridge the gap between the music scene in Pakistan and the Western landscape, undeterred by the geographic and cultural distances from techno hubs of the West.

His exceptional skills have not gone unnoticed, with notable achievements including a remix release of Nabihah Iqbal on Ninja Tune.

You can hear faint echoes of the kind of music that Motor City artists like the late Mike Huckaby would make while in house mode, but Uppal’s music shares even more in common with the vaguely hallucinatory sound of artists like YokoO.
