Haiku

Haiku is the son of printmaker and art teacher Mama Riddim. He is a UK (Leeds) born rapper and producer living in the high desert of New Mexico. Haiku has been making sample-based hip hop since the naughties. As part of the Nine Lives Klik of scallywags, he co-hosted Leeds' legendary hip hop night "Freebass" which influenced the careers of many great rappers, producers, graffers, singers, b-people, and DJs you've never heard of. Despite taking years to put out music, his lyrics seem to be about nothing, and his beats sound pretty simple.
