Consisting of singer Bryan Crouch, bassist Chad Taylor, drummer Drew Dockrill, and guitarist Joseph Stamp, the band released a self-titled EP and the full-length album Disconnected in 2005 as Farenheit. The following year, the band changed its name to Hail the Villain and adopted a darker, heavier sound to match its more ominous moniker. The band did some touring with Sevendust and Stone Sour before settling down to finally record an album under its new name. In 2010, the band released its debut as Hail the Villain, Population: Declining, through Roadrunner Records. ~ Gregory Heaney, Rovi
