Hailey Steele moved to Nashville at 19 and has been carefully crafting her own brand of country music while writing and touring the entire way. She’s a Leap Year Baby that is equal parts rock & roll and South Dakota girl. One comes on strong with a slight disregard for convention and a flare for the glamorous, while the other is one you could sit with for hours on a porch while you drink beer, shoot the breeze and crack dirty jokes. She offers powerful yet easy-listening vocals with a signature rasp and crystal clear falsetto, poetically raw lyrics and thought-out, addicting melodies that encapsulate everything she loves about music - with the focus being on the craft of song.


“Lately I have been trying to get painfully honest with myself when I sit down to write. It can be uncomfortable but I always find people relating the most to those songs, and those are always the most rewarding. They wanna hear the truth, and I know the song won’t mean much to me if I’m not telling it.”


Her genre-fluid songwriting style and live performance chops have landed her tour spots with Will Hoge, Little Big Town, Kelsea Ballerini, and most recently Willie Nelson.
