Haive Music is the solo project of John Leahy. It aims to blend various electronic psychedelic styles together to form something truly unique. Psybient, psychill, chillout, melodic downtempo, and glitch are joined with organic elements found in more traditional forms of music. The style itself, while difficult to precisely categorize, works to tickle the ear and excite the mind, while helping to build a peaceful and relaxing environment for those listeners who are tagging along for the journey. Highly experimental in nature – ambient somber meet rhythmic percussion. Happy melodic elements blend seamlessly together with slightly out of tune glitches. Meanwhile, deep and rich low-end bass helps shift the transfer and flow of energy in and out of every track.
