Hakuzu (Alex Lorenzo) is a Future-Trap Style Producer from Point Pleasant, New Jersey.
Alex has been studying music for 14 years. Started playing guitar, drums and singing at an early age, with early influences by @311, @CKY, @Alice In Chains, @Linkin Park, @Killswitch Engage, and @Metallica, etc...
The first music project was a 3 piece reggae band, The Solid Few. Which was a mix between Surf Rock, Reggae, and Heavy Metal with catchy choruses, driving guitar riffs and leads. Alex was the Lead guitarist/lead singer. The Solid Few played shows in the local New Jersey circuit for about 5 years, for thousands of people until the band broke up in 2009.
After The Solid Few disbanded, Alex started a solo project called Spontaneous Generation but never released any of the music. This is when he first started getting into production with Ableton Live 8.
In 2013 a new Project was formed, a Rock Band called Armistead. Which performed shows around New Jersey and New York before disbanding in 2015.
From 2015-2017 Alex produced under the name Tynee Jiants and began to build a solid following on Instagram and Soundcloud, learning the art of electronic music production and mixing.
On March 1st, 2018, the name was changed to Hakuzu for professional reasons. Since then Hakuzu has seen considerable growth with over 20k followers on Instagram (11/11/18) and over 100k plays on SoundCloud
