halfhopeful is an emo/alternative-screamo band from Santa Maria, California, formed in 2023 by Gabriel Castrejon, Nehemiah Moreno, and Yoshi De La Peña. As one of the first genuine screamo-adjacent bands to come out of the 805, they’ve carved their own lane, fusing raw, emotional guitar work with trill energy and unapologetic party chaos.
