Drawing from Hip Hop and Jazz influences, Halfpenny blend heavy beats with live instrumentation, striking vocals and insightful lyrics, forming their own sound.
Fronted by lead singer Rosalind and rapper Sparx, Halfpenny are all close friends and family; most of whom grew up in 2 houses next door to each other in North London. Consisting of siblings, cousins and childhood mates, their music is made up of a mix of vocals, keys, guitar, saxophones, flute, bass, percussion and beatboxing.
