I was born in 1960 in the south-west of England. I was educated at Stonyhurst College, Lancashire.
I served for nine years in the RAF.
I compose Electronic/Ambient music that is mainly influenced and inspired by the music of Tangerine Dream, particularly that from the period of their Phaedra album onwards (Rubycon, Stratosfear, etc). My influences also include a wide range of other diverse artists/groups, including for example JMJ, Vangelis, Genesis, Nightwish, Gary Numan, Stranglers (to name a few), and also by classical composers such as, for example, Bach and Wagner, and many others.
