Bruin Valentine is a writer of contemporary handpan instrumentals, often inspired by his long hikes out on the Cumbrian fells.
Deep and emotionally emersive, they bring together an ambient mix of percussion, melody, and silence.
Written predominately based around his emotions at the time, each composition has a sense of love or pain and joy.
He began his musical career at the age of 20 when he chose the Cumbrian hills as his home. Prior to this, the vast majority of his childhood was spent exploring the entirety of Europe and beyond, where he experienced a lush metropolis of cultural sounds and many new perspectives on life.
He lives in an old attic room in a crumbling farm house, nestled below Skiddaw, his most sacred mountain.
Balancing his time between crafting pizzas in a bar over in the next valley, and creating and composing with his handpan, his dream is to become a full time performing musician.
