HANLEY

Musical artist Jordan Hanley (born February 20, 1990), better known by his stage name HANLEY, is a Canadian rapper. Born in Montreal, Quebec, and raised in Ottawa, Ontario, he embarked on his recording career in 2005, before his hiatus in 2012. His 2025 collaborative album with Hip Hop producer CR8S, SIDEWAYS EIGHT, was released 04/20/2025. Prior to the release of SIDEWAYS EIGHT in April, on 12/31/2024, he released one of his most notable singles “Nina Simone (Misunderstood)” which received critical praise. Produced by Big Homie Wes, the aforementioned single explores being misunderstood and dealing with that feeling of being misunderstood by falling into dangerous vices. The single contains a vocal sample from Nina Simone’s hit, ' Don't Let Me Be Misunderstood.'

With the collaborative album Sideways Eight with CR8S released on 04/20/2025, Hanley intends to follow up Sideways Eight with another collaborative project in the near future. The Memento Mori album in collaboration with Calvin KRhyme released 07/19/2025 with a great response to the full-length project. Listeners can still expect to see a few more EP's and "Que Sera, Sera" a follow up to the Memento Mori album which will also be fully produced by Calvin KRhyme.
