Hanno Pondaag

Hanno started to play music by learning to play the Recorder at age six.
Hanno started at age seven to play and learn about the Piano. Hanno (piano) played as an accompanist to Fleur van Garderen (violin) in a preliminary round of the Princess Christina Concours in the Netherlands.
Hanno studied the piano and music for five years from 1990 until 1995 at the Conservatory Enschede, in the Netherlands.
His teachers: Gerard Houtman a.o. He played in combos and in the Bigband of the Conservatory.
Around 1994 he played in the backing band of 'The New Valley Singers', a gospel choir from Nijverdal, NL, then. He played in many churches and in the theatre Orpheus of Apeldoorn with this choir. There also was a study in computer science for one year at the University Twente, before he went to the Conservatory.
