Hans Hjelm

Hans Hjelm is a guitar player based in Stockholm, Sweden. He studied jazz guitar at the University of North Texas in the nineties and has spent the last ten years performing and releasing music with psych rock bands <a href="spotify:artist:3iScQxQaTfREQGr09HLjNp" data-name="Kungens Män">Kungens Män</a> and <a href="spotify:artist:1NPlTxpurKL2dZNej8ndnC" data-name="Automatism">Automatism</a>.

Factory Reset is the debut solo album by the guitarist. The music can be described as <a href="spotify:artist:762310PdDnwsDxAQxzQkfX" data-name="Depeche Mode">Depeche Mode</a> meets <a href="spotify:artist:4njCJpFlUJkSmFRj6vDZ9D" data-name="Michael Rother">Michael Rother</a>, with hints of <a href="spotify:artist:50zRydJXfkLzGIOj9mITfy" data-name="Jan Hammer">Jan Hammer</a> and <a href="spotify:artist:3SONlwqLIP2GtaMh9pLYe5" data-name="Bill Frisell">Bill Frisell</a>. It was followed by more prog-influenced Into The Night three years later, a joint release by Majestic Mountain and Sound Effect Records.
