Happy Cat Jay is a multi-instrumentalist, songwriter, producer and singer. After producing a string of genre-bending releases for London-based artists, Jay began releasing his own music with Fat! Records in 2019 with his debut 'Moods EP'.
He's since released collaborations with rapper Local, Shingai (Noisettes), Bklava (Ministry of Sound), DJ SKT and Krystal Roxx (Ultra Records) and up-and-coming star Leila McKenzie - using soul, funk, jazz, house, garage, prog-rock, jungle and hip-hop as components in his enormous melting pot.
In 2022 he founded his own label 'Stone Cold Classics Recordings' with an emphasis on cross-genre collaboration and positive-impact community projects. Get involved now :) <3
